SURPASS – Training on Ship Automation

This project addresses an inadequacy in education and training of merchant navy officers, and that human operators rarely understand all the characteristics of automated systems and their limitations.

Surpass aims to improve maritime training by proving knowledge, skills and understanding of automated systems using e-learning and assessment platforms in the learning process.
